Hey, I’m Mudasir, a 20 year old male. I have recently been
offered a place to study Engineering Science in the Bachelor’s Program at
Hamburg University of Technology in Germany. This is a once in a lifetime
opportunity that brings me closer to achieving my dream. My admission is
confirmed, but there’s one requirement I cannot fulfill alone: the German
blocked account.
Although I was ecstatic to receive my acceptance, the
financial requirement attached may prevent me from fulfilling my dream. As a
student from outside the European Union, the German government requires all
non-EU students to open a blocked account where a fixed amount (currently
around €11,904) is deposited before arrival. I will return all donations once I
receive my blocked amount back or give them to someone else in need if I cannot
reach the donor.
I have started this crowdfunding campaign to raise money for
my blocked account. I absolutely hate asking for help, as I have always been
raised to be independent and self-sufficient. However, studying abroad in
Germany has been my dream for years, and I would be devastated if finances were
the only thing stopping me. So here I am, humbly asking for your support even
if you can’t donate, sharing my campaign would mean so much.
Why I Need Support
For non-EU students, the blocked account serves as proof
that you can support yourself during your first year in Germany. This is not a
fee, it’s my own money, held in Germany, and returned to me in monthly
installments once I arrive. I will work part-time in Germany to cover my living
expenses, so your contribution will only go toward fulfilling the blocked
account requirement.
My family cannot afford to deposit this large sum all at
once, which is why I am reaching out for help. Since the blocked account amount
will be returned to me over the year, I commit to repaying every donor as soon
as I receive it back. If I cannot contact a donor, I will donate the equivalent
amount to another student or person in need.
Although I had hoped to apply for scholarships to cover my
expenses, there are no scholarships available to cover the blocked account
requirement for bachelor’s students.
That’s why I’ve started this fundrazr campaign, to ask for
help bridging the gap. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a
meaningful difference. It will allow me to start this course and take one step
closer to achieving my dream. I’m committed to working hard to make this
opportunity count. Your support will give me a clear vision, a strong
foundation, and the passion to take my next step in the professional world.
This isn’t just financial help, it’s an investment in my future and my career.
What Your Support Means
Studying abroad and gaining international exposure would
mean the absolute world to me. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me
closer to achieving my dream of becoming a skilled engineer and contributing to
society.
Your support isn’t just financial, it’s personal. It says
you believe in my potential, my abilities, and the work I want to do. It will
help lift the weight of financial stress so I can fully embrace the
opportunities and challenges ahead. I am committed to returning every donation
once I start receiving my blocked amount back. If I am unable to reach a donor,
I will pass the equivalent amount on to another student or person in need.
If you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing this
campaign or passing it along to someone who might be interested would make a
huge difference.
If you have any questions about me, need any proof, or want
more information regarding my admission or situation, please feel free to
contact me anytime. I’ll be more than happy to share whatever you need.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time
to read this and supporting me. I truly couldn’t do this without you. ❤️
Best regards,
Mudasir Ahmad
